Nottinghamshire Hospice is a leading provider of compassionate, community-based palliative care for people living with terminal or life-limiting illness across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Our work is guided by our core values: Compassion, Trust and Ambition. Our Hospice offers staff the unique privilege to walk alongside patients and their families at this significant time of their lives while providing compassionate care and support. We deliver high-quality, excellent palliative care for patients living with a life-limiting condition and we also support their families and friends, both before and after death.
You will work within a supportive multi‑disciplinary team, in a professional service, making a real difference to the lives of patients and their families. Working in an environment where the patient is truly the centre of care, you will be part of a supportive and fun team where everyone is valued for their unique skills and experience. You do not need palliative care experience (although that would be great) as we offer a comprehensive induction package. Our Hospice in Your Home Team provides planned 1:1 care and a roaming service to people in their own homes. The successful postholder will work shifts across the week, including weekends and bank holidays, on a planned rota basis.
