The role

We are looking for someone will work as part of our growing Engagement & Communications team to support a wide range of visual projects that help to communicate brands, information, advice and support to guide behaviour change and social movements, aligned to the ICE mission.

You will work as part of a fast paced, agile, creative organisation, to produce assets for digital and print channels, showcasing your creative flare and understanding of how to connect and communicate with target audiences. You will be expected to drive and have access to a car. You will also be expected to travel to other ICE offices and client site from time to time.

Key elements of the day-to-day role:

  • Assist in the design and production of visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, presentations, websites, and print materials.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, services and clients to develop engaging visual content.
  • Support the creation of brand-consistent graphics and layouts that align with campaign, service and brand guidance.
  • Participate in client/service campaign sessions and contribute creative ideas and visual story telling concepts.
  • Prepare and package files for print and digital delivery.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Act at all times within the Company’s rules, policies, procedures and financial regulations.
  • Observe and comply with employees’ obligations under Health and Safety policy and law.

  • Comply with all information governance policies and procedures at all times.

Essential existing skills/experience

  • A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design work across various media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with Figma or Canva is a plus.
  • Understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and branding principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow
  • Comfortable with a hybrid working model (a mix of office and home-based).
  • Experience in using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other digital platforms.
  • Motion graphics or video editing skills (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with web design or basic HTML/CSS.
  • Photography, animation, graphic scribing or illustration skills.
