St Catherine’s Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey. Role
This post is offered on a permanent, part‑time basis, working 16 hours per week over 2 days between Monday to Friday. The role is within our Income Generation Team and involves delivering high levels of customer service and maximizing sales and profits.
Location: Grace Holland Avenue, Pease Pottage, Crawley, West Sussex RH11 9SL.
About You
We are seeking a reliable, motivated driver who can support the collection and distribution of donated goods across the Surrey and West Sussex area. The ideal candidate will:
- Be an essential car user and hold a full, clean and current UK driving licence.
- Have driving experience and be comfortable handling large and/or heavy items.
- Possess effective customer service skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Experience of driving a variety of vehicles.
- Ability to safely handle large and/or heavy items.
- Stamina for hands-on work.
- Working independently and as part of a team, working closely with the Superstore Manager to prioritise collections and deliveries.
- Professional manner, representing the hospice positively at all times.
