Are you a friendly, customer focused, team player that is wanting to learn, adapt and get stuck in? This is a hands-on experience, to join our Trading team, assisting in one of our diverse Charity Shops in your local area.
If you have a passion for customer service, enjoy varied responsibilities, organisation or you would like to gain experience in working in a shop, then this placement could be for you. You do not need prior experience, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Why the Trading Team? This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of 13 Charity shops across Surrey and Sussex, learning valuable customer service skills and understanding the different responsibilities required to operate and run a successful shop. You will work alongside our small but busy Trading team, made up of staff and volunteers, learning all the aspects of running a smooth service.

- Hassocks
- Haywards Heath
- Horley
- Horsham
- Oxted
- Redhill
- Reigate
Whether you have an eye for shop design, enjoy sorting through various donations, or stocking shelves, this customer facing role will offer you a vast experience.

This placement is aimed at students aged ***** in full/part-time education looking to gain experience in a fast-paced People Team. Please attach a covering letter as to why you are interested in work experience at St Catherine's Hospice, within the Trading Team, as well as answering the pre-application questions. Please specify the dates you would like to attend work experience; please note we can only accommodate placements in June and July.
