A leading residential developer is seeking a Site Engineer to join a large-scale housing development in Tullamore. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term project with strong continuity of work and progression potential.

Project Overview

The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of a major residential scheme comprising approximately 200 units across two phases. Project Duration - 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out and surveying duties on site using EDM / total station equipment
  • Ensuring all works are completed in line with design drawings and specifications
  • Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
  • Maintaining accurate site records, as-built drawings, and QA documentation
  • Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations
  • Monitoring progress against programme and assisting with planning where required
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in compliance with health & safety standards
  • Resolving technical issues on site in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Site Engineer role (residential experience preferred)
  • Strong setting out experience using GPS and total station equipment
  • Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for sections of work
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Valid right to work in Ireland / EU

Package

  • Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 DOE
  • Long-term project stability (approx. 2 years minimum on current scheme)
