As a Steel Fixer, you will play a crucial role in reinforcing and securing steel structures, ensuring the safety and stability of various construction projects. Responsibilities: * Interpret and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications. * Cut, bend, shape, and tie steel bars, mesh, and cables to reinforce concrete structures. * Install steel rebar cages, beams, columns, and other steel components according to project requirements. * Use hand and power tools to accurately position and secure steel reinforcements. * Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as engineers and supervisors, to ensure project specifications are met. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site, promoting a safe working environment. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Steel Fixer in the construction industry is essential. * Must hold a valid CSCS Card (Blue Steel Fixing Card advantageous). * Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and plans. * Knowledge of different steel fixing techniques and methodologies. * Familiarity with various hand and power tools used in steel fixing. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. * Excellent teamwork and communication skills. * Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
