Key Responsibilities
- Oversee setting out and surveying of substructures and earthworks using GPS, total stations, and manual methods.
- Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards through Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safe Systems of Work.
- Implement Quality Control procedures including ITPs and records.
- Liaise with stakeholders to resolve engineering issues on-site.
- Prepare and manage material take-offs from drawings.
Requirements
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive site engineering experience in major infrastructure or linear projects.
- Proficient in surveying, setting out, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
