Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee setting out and surveying of substructures and earthworks using GPS, total stations, and manual methods.
  • Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards through Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Implement Quality Control procedures including ITPs and records.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve engineering issues on-site.
  • Prepare and manage material take-offs from drawings.

Requirements

  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive site engineering experience in major infrastructure or linear projects.
  • Proficient in surveying, setting out, and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
