Join a leading construction team delivering landmark projects! We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Services Manager to join a high-performing project team delivering complex construction projects across a range of sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a building services professional with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to play a key role in the successful delivery of major projects from design through to commissioning and handover.
Working closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors, you will oversee the coordination, installation, and delivery of all building services systems while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
As a key member of the Services Team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of building services including:
- Electrical
- Mechanical
- HVAC & Ventilation
- Hydraulic & Plumbing
- Fire Protection Systems
- Security Systems
- Vertical Transport
- Digital Engineering & Building Services Coordination
You will drive services coordination from planning and procurement through installation, commissioning, testing, and project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead services coordination and design development across major projects
- Manage subcontractors, consultants, and services trades onsite
- Chair coordination and workshop meetings to resolve design and construction issues
- Oversee commissioning activities and ensure successful project handover
- Monitor project programme, procurement tracking, and shop drawing coordination
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Review and manage contract variations and subcontractor performance
- Coordinate with authorities and stakeholders including power, water, gas, and telecommunications providers
- Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with all OH&S requirements
- Support continuous improvement and innovation across building services delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualification in Building Services, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role within Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction environments
- Strong understanding of commissioning, services coordination, and building regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments
