Our client requires QS’s at Junior, Intermediate & Senior levels and fully embraces the ‘remote working’ model so your location can be a ‘hybrid’ mix of Head Office (Dublin)/Regional Office (West/N West) and Home with infrequent travel to client projects/offices.
Required for busy consultancy, initial portfolio will include cost management for various sectors including, commercial, retail, institutional, hotel & leisure, residential, and maybe also include hyperscale, life-science & hi-tech projects in Ireland. Results driven QS’s are rewarded swiftly with promotion to the senior management team for key performers.
You will be degree qualified in quantity surveying, cost management or similar, with proven years experience in a PQS or Project Management Consultancy practice in Ireland, UK or overseas.
Responsibilities:
- To assist with full scope of cost management services including pre and post contract cost planning:
- Procurement; Contract Admin.
- Understanding of Commercial & Residential, new build and refurbishment.
- Experience of various contract forms.
- Advising clients and design teams on cost, value, and risk, not just cost.
Ideally:
- You will be a qualified Quantity/Project Surveyor with good numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
- You will possess logged post graduate experience in quantity surveying environment.
- Knowledge of various sectors: Retail, Commercial, Education, Residential.
- Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.
