Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join their team, working on a 3:1 rotation across major Data Centre projects throughout Europe. The successful candidate will initially be based on a project in Austria and will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to final completion. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, incorporating project scope, milestones, and resource requirements. • Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, identifying risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement. • Carry out regular site visits to gather progress updates and ensure programmes accurately reflect site activities. • Lead planning meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. • Recommend programme adjustments to optimise sequencing, resource allocation, and project delivery. • Manage programme updates to reflect variations, scope changes, and project developments. • Produce regular progress reports and planning updates for project teams and senior management. • Support risk management by identifying programme impacts and implementing recovery plans where required. • Assist with the development of short-term look-ahead programmes to support site operations. • Maintain accurate planning records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is desirable. • Proven experience using Primavera P6 is essential. • Minimum 3 years' experience in project planning and scheduling on large-scale construction projects. • Previous experience delivering Data Centre projects is highly desirable. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams. • EU citizenship or the ability to travel and work freely within the EU without visa restrictions.
