A leading Tier 1 main contractor is currently recruiting a Project Manager to join the team on a major school development project in the Curragh, with additional projects also live across the Kildare region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering large-scale public sector and education builds, with long-term work secured and full project teams currently being assembled across multiple sites.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the delivery of the project from pre-construction through to handover, managing programme, subcontractors, quality, health & safety, logistics and client coordination throughout.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-start to completion
- Oversee planning, programming and site operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, design teams and suppliers
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards
- Lead site meetings, progress reporting and stakeholder communication
- Monitor procurement schedules, technical submittals and project milestones
- Drive QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with all project procedures
- Work closely with commercial, design and site teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Proven experience delivering construction projects as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager
- Main contractor experience essential
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality and programme management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and project planning software
