Required for leading Piling Contractor in Dublin.
Role:
- Work closely with contractors, supervisors and Project Managers to ensure that Project Pile Design is implemented safely, efficiently and technically correct.
- Produce and maintain method statements, risk assessments.
- Prepare detailed Site Instructions and brief site crews.
- Monitor any changes to works scope and ensure they are implemented.
- Carry out and complete lift plans.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with pile design.
- Review and report on soil and site conditions to ensure Pile Design requirements are being achieved.
- Review and implement Engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications to comply with project scope.
- Ensure design information is used and checked in accordance with Quality Procedures and industry standards.
- Manage Projects for timely and cost efficient completion.
- Attend prestart, progress and completion meetings.
- Compile project records upon completion of works.
- Manage and issue site testing engineers, review reports and report.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Have practical expertise with contemporary piling methods including Rotary Bored, CFA, Driven, Diaphragm wall, and Secant Wall.
- Experience delivering technically difficult projects (related to foundation, piling).
