A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to join its building team on a high-profile project in Limerick. This is a key role supporting the delivery of complex construction works, with a focus on managing design coordination, technical documentation, and stakeholder engagement across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage design documentation and coordinate with internal Design & Build teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support weekly design meetings, track design release schedules, and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Oversee technical submittals and material approvals in line with client requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date trackers for RFIs, design submissions, and material submittals.
  • Liaise closely with site and commercial teams, ensuring the latest approved design information is communicated and implemented.
  • Support site QA/QC processes, assist with BCAR documentation, and contribute to progress reporting.
  • Attend and document site mock-ups and benchmarks, ensuring proper execution and approvals.
Requirements
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, AutoCAD, and document management platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings and construction specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
  • Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and design standards.
  • Background in design/site/project management or engineering (degree qualified).
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction methodologies and online contract tools.
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
