The Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Transmission & Distribution Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of major renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects. You will oversee the day-to-day management of projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project delivery within agreed cost, quality, and programme targets
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and external consultants
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety and regulatory standards
  • Carry out regular site inspections and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Manage client expectations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management
  • Oversee commercial performance and project P&L
  • Support and develop cross-functional project teams

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a similar site-based project management role
  • Proven experience delivering renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects including:
    • Wind and solar developments
    • 38kV, 110kV & 220kV substations
    • BESS and grid connection projects
    • Groundworks, excavations, road openings, and utility coordination
  • Strong electrical engineering knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams
