Required for medium-sized contractor who are undertaking a large educational project in Harold's Cross, Dublin 6.

Role
  • Carry out construction inspections to verify BCAR/ Works requirements including:
  • concrete pre/post pour checks
  • verifying drainage compliance with drawings
  • checking blockwork mortar joints are consistent
  • verify wall ties compliance
  • radon membrane / DPC continuity checks
  • fire stopping/ fire resistance construction checks
  • air tightness membrane checks
  • first fix review of services and check fire-stopping of penetrations
  • insulation checks/cold bridging
  • Co-ordinate the response to Ancillary Certifier inspections under BCAR
  • Liaise with Clerk of Works to close out any defects reports
