Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong MEP and fit-out background to join a high-profile hotel development in Central London.
This role is suited to someone with a detailed understanding of MEP installations, fit-out sequencing, and programme management. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical works alongside finishing trades, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site activities during the fit-out phase of a luxury hotel project.
- Coordinate MEP installations with all associated trades to ensure efficient sequencing and programme delivery.
- Monitor progress against programme and proactively identify and resolve site constraints.
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and the project team to ensure works are progressing in line with project milestones.
- Oversee commissioning, pre-commissioning, temporary testing, and system handovers.
- Review consultant reports and ensure actions are closed out effectively.
- Produce progress reports, snagging reports, and quality inspections.
- Ensure all installations meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture on site.
- Support project close-out, testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Fit-Out Manager, MEP Supervisor, or MEP Site Manager on hotel, commercial, high-end residential, or hospitality projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP installations and fit-out delivery.
- Experience managing programme, installation sequencing, and trade coordination.
- Knowledge of commissioning, testing, snagging, and handover processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and programmes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred.
