About the Role
Our client is a leading engineering contractor delivering large-scale projects across sectors including data centres, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their London team and support the successful delivery of complex electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project delivery by providing technical engineering expertise.
- Review electrical designs, specifications, GA drawings, and single-line diagrams.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure equipment selection complies with project requirements and relevant standards.
- Coordinate with BIM and design teams to resolve technical and constructability issues.
- Attend client and design review meetings and provide technical reports.
- Prepare technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers, and project trackers.
- Identify design scope gaps and propose practical engineering solutions.
- Support construction teams with technical queries throughout project delivery.
- Report on project progress, risks, and engineering issues.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a similar electrical engineering role.
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status or willingness to do so.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems within construction or building services projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Revit and/or Trimble software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
