Mechanical Package Lead

Location: South Wales, UK
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum

- Minimum 3 years plus experience in a site-based MEP role
- Experience working on Pharmaceutical projects

Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of MEP Construction Manager in region, your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing Health and Safety for all stakeholders
- Leading by example and ensuring awareness of Company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Being aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out)
- Maintaining full knowledge of project Mechanical systems and tracking installation compliance with specifications and schedule
- Understanding project-specific commissioning requirements and assisting in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
- Conducting site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to ensure compliance
- Coordinating that rooms and areas meet CSA and MEP Quality standards for advanced Beneficial Use
- Providing stakeholders with sufficient information to progress systems installation in line with the master construction program
- Ensuring contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to complete works successfully
- Reviewing the master construction schedule to optimize sequencing and focus on work faces for Mechanical and CSA scope
- Chairing and contributing to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders
- Issuing weekly progress and costs reports as required
- Managing sub-contractor activities, tracking progress and manpower
- Reviewing and ensuring production of construction and commissioning programs, work execution documents, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs
