Our client is a leading main contractor with a strong track record in delivering high-quality construction projects across London. They are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial aspects of a £40m cut & carve redevelopment project in Hammersmith.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all commercial aspects of the project, including cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee procurement processes, including subcontractor selection and contract negotiation.
- Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities related to cost and value.
- Lead the preparation and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions and value engineering.
- Mentor and support junior commercial staff as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
