A leading main contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, based in Belfast Head Office, supporting a high-profile hotel development project in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering complex, design-led schemes across the UK and Ireland, with strong long-term career progression. There is also a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across London, Northern Ireland and Dublin, offering long-term stability and future opportunities.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative commercial team, you will be responsible for managing all surveying functions across the project lifecycle, ensuring effective cost control and commercial delivery. Key duties include:

  • Procurement and management of subcontract packages
  • Preparing valuations, cost reports and final accounts
  • Managing variations, cost control and risk analysis
  • Liaising with site teams, design teams and subcontractors
  • Supporting commercial strategy and ensuring project profitability

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
  • Strong experience across main contracting projects
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and commercial packages
  • Good understanding of construction contracts (NEC experience beneficial)
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction

Location & Travel

Based in Belfast Head Office. Travel to London required - all expenses covered. Hybrid working available following probation.
