Our client is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Manager to join a major residential development project. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong and proactive building services professional with a proven track record delivering large-scale residential schemes.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the management and coordination of all Mechanical & Electrical packages from design stage through to commissioning and handover, ensuring programme, quality, safety, and commercial objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day MEP site operations and coordinate all building services activities.
  • Manage Mechanical & Electrical subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and chair MEP progress meetings, coordinating between subcontractors, consultants, and the wider site team.
  • Review and manage MEP design information from Stage 3 through to completion.
  • Monitor commissioning programmes, testing procedures, certifications, and handover documentation.
  • Ensure all QA processes are implemented across 1st fix, mid fix, and final fix installations.
  • Liaise with Building Control, Warranty Providers, Clerk of Works, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Coordinate permanent utilities from design through to final installation and meter procurement.
  • Review RAMS, safe systems of work, and ensure compliance with all H&S requirements.
  • Work closely with commercial and design teams to resolve technical and programme-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Support delivery of planning conditions, BREEAM, Building Control, and other third-party approvals.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working on large-scale residential developments.
  • Experience managing M&E packages valued at £10m+ and/or developments of 200+ residential units.
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical & Electrical systems, commissioning, and building services regulations.
  • SMSTS and relevant industry qualifications/cards.
  • Excellent knowledge of QA procedures, H&S regulations, and commissioning processes.
  • Strong commercial awareness and subcontractor management experience.
  • Ability to challenge programme performance and drive delivery on site.
  • Confident communicator with experience leading meetings and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore.
