Our client is a global leader in civil and ground engineering projects operating throughout the UK and Overseas. They are part of a Multi-Billion turnover group. They are proud to be part of the Sizewell C project - one of the UK's most significant energy infrastructure developments - contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Diaphragm Wall Construction Manager to lead and coordinate the diaphragm wall construction works on the Sizewell C project. This is a key site-based leadership role, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all D-Wall activities in alignment with project schedules, technical specifications, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and manage daily D-Wall construction activities on-site.
- Oversee specialist equipment, plant, and resources to ensure optimal productivity and safety.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure compliance with project design and quality requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and lead toolbox talks.
- Monitor progress, prepare reports, and identify and resolve technical or operational challenges.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to ensure milestones are achieved.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Project Manager or Superintendent on Diaphragm wall or major Foundations/Ground Engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of D-Wall construction techniques, equipment, and QA/QC standards.
- Solid knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and site practices.
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
