Graduate Event Manager
Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall
£26,500 + NILGOSC Pension | 2-Year Fixed Term | 37 hrs/week (flexible shifts)
Ready to launch your career in live events? We are recruiting for a motivated Graduate Event Manager to join our dynamic team at BWUH. You’ll gain hands-on experience planning and delivering a wide range of events, from world-class conferences to unforgettable live shows, across two of Belfast’s most iconic venues.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support the coordination and smooth delivery of live events
- Work directly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to meet event goals
- Learn project management and event delivery tools like VEMS
- Assist with event budgets, logistics, and on-the-day operations
- Ensure events meet health & safety standards and deliver top-tier customer service
- Be part of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork
This is a developmental role. You’ll be mentored by experienced colleagues and exposed to all aspects of professional event management including production, logistics, financial planning, and customer engagement.
About You- A 3rd level qualification in Event Management (or equivalent)
- A passion for live events and teamwork
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Works well under pressure, with the ability to manage priorities
- Experience (including volunteer/casual) in events or hospitality is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
