Are you commercially driven, relationship-focused and passionate about bringing world-class conferences and events to Belfast? ICC Belfast is seeking a Business Development Manager - Association Sales to help secure and grow national and international conference business, driving economic impact and positioning Belfast as a leading destination for business events.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to lead on new and repeat conference sales, manage key client relationships and work alongside industry partners to win major events for the city.
What you will be doing:
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of association and conference opportunities
- Developing long-term relationships with associations, PCOs and event agencies
- Leading bids for national and international conferences
- Representing ICC Belfast at trade shows and industry events
- Driving commercial performance across room hire, catering and additional services
- Working cross-functionally to deliver exceptional client experiences and commercial outcomes
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in sales and client relationship management
- A strong track record of achieving ambitious sales targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- The ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders
- Experience managing CRM systems and sales reporting
- Experience within the events, conference or hospitality industry would be highly desirable.
