ICBAN’s mission is to improve the quality of life and prosperity of the Central Border Region, by creating a dynamic model of best practice and partnership in cross-border development. We require a proactive and innovative Project Manager to co-ordinate ICBAN’s lead role in the delivery of the new ‘FLOW’ (For the Love of Our Waters) Water Quality project. Working with a dedicated Project Support Officer and in partnership with a diverse stakeholder group, this role is instrumental in maximising cross-border collaboration to deliver on the environmental and community objectives that are at the heart of the project. The postholder will have access to specialist scientific Water Quality expertise to support their project management responsibilities, so technical knowledge is not a pre-requisite.
Key Requirements:
- 3rd Level Qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Project Management, Business / Public Administration, or a related discipline)
- Proven experience in the management and completion of complex projects, including financial controls and stakeholder engagement.
ICBAN operates a hybrid working model that will balance personal wellbeing with the requirements of the role, however the postholder must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the four cross-border water catchments of Lough Melvin, Upper & Lower Lough MacNean, Cladagh River and Kilroosky Lake Cluster.
