At ICare Group, we're passionate about supporting people to live safely and independently in their own homes and communities. We're currently looking for a caring and committed Care Support Worker to join our Blackpool team on a 9-month maternity cover contract.
This rewarding role is based within a friendly supported living home, supporting four male residents with varying levels of need, alongside providing dedicated one-to-one support within the community. No two days are the same, and every day is an opportunity to make a genuine difference.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing personal care with dignity, respect, and compassion
- Supporting with daily living tasks, including meals, medication prompts, and household duties
- Encouraging independence and building confidence
- Offering companionship, emotional support, and reassurance
- Supporting individuals to access and enjoy their local community
- Carrying out wellbeing checks and reporting any concerns
- Following individual care plans to deliver the highest standard of support

Essential Experience
- Previous experience supporting older people
- Experience supporting individuals living with dementia and other health conditions
- Understanding of person-centred care
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
