Care Supervisor (Driver with Own Vehicle Required) - Wirral & Bromborough

£14.45 per hour (£28,177.50 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week)

Additional On-Call Payments

37.5 Hours per Week, Monday-Friday - Weekend On Call every 3 weeks

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant, Care Coordinator or Care Supervisor who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and growing organisation.

Important Information Before You Apply

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Have access to your own reliable vehicle
  • Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place
  • Be available to participate in an on-call rota, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Be able to work within the community, assisted living services and office environments as required

We would also consider two suitable part-time candidates as a job share arrangement.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Care Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care across our Assisted Living and Domiciliary Care services. No two days are the same, but your role may include:

  • Coordinating and supervising care services to ensure excellent outcomes
  • Creating and managing staff rotas to maintain service coverage
  • Supporting care staff through supervision, coaching and mentoring
  • Conducting service user reviews, spot checks and quality monitoring visits
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance requirements
  • Liaising with service users, families, healthcare professionals and commissioners
  • Supporting investigations, complaints and incident reporting where required
  • Participating in the on-call rota and responding to service needs
  • Delivering hands-on care to support service delivery when needed
  • Promoting safeguarding, health and safety, quality and best practice standards

You’ll also need:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, senior care or care coordination role
  • Experience within domiciliary care, extra care or assisted living services
  • Experience creating and managing staff rotas
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
