Responsibilities
- Ensuring job adverts are fit for purpose, engaging and attracting quality candidates.
- Actively sourcing candidates through a variety of methods including job portals, social media platforms, job boards and recruitment fairs.
- Building and maintaining close working relationships with Hiring Managers.
- Proactively engaging with new candidates to ensure they are supported throughout the recruitment process to enable a smooth candidate experience.
- Supporting the Hiring Managers with all aspects of the recruitment process including updating vacancy trackers, booking candidate interviews and advising how to achieve recruitment targets.
- Processing new starter documentation including carrying out background checks, requesting references and ensuring candidates have completed the mandatory training required.
- Providing weekly and monthly reports on recruitment outcomes.
- Working in close partnership with the Job Centre.
- Actively seeking out Job Fairs in ICare's localities.
- Performing exit interviews with leavers.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated, innovative, flexible, organised, excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- Experienced in recruitment with an innovative, energetic and driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Creative in producing job adverts to continually attract new candidates.
- Ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Discrete when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Personable and able to build relationships.
- Previous experience in recruitment (ideally in the care sector).
- Experience of working across and with multiple sites.
- Proven experience of recruiting large numbers of staff within a tight timescale.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven organisational and administrative skills.
- Knowledge of Job Recruitment Fairs.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Outstanding references and a clear DB.
- Vehicle owner with full driving license.
