  • Important Information Before You Apply
  • Have previous management experience within domiciliary care
  • Hold NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care as a minimum
  • Have, be working towards, or be willing to work towards a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Have both domiciliary and extra care experience
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Have access to your own vehicle
  • Hold or be willing to obtain work-related business insurance
  • Be available for on-call duties and occasional weekend working when required
  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

What Will You Be Doing?

As a

Registered Care Manager , you'll be responsible for leading and developing a high-quality domiciliary care service, ensuring excellent outcomes for the people we support and creating a positive environment for your team.

No two days are the same, but your role may include

  • Holding CQC registration and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the branch
  • Leading, motivating and developing care and office-based teams
  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and retention of care staff
  • Creating and managing staffing rotas to ensure effective service delivery
  • Building strong relationships with commissioners, service users, families and healthcare professionals
  • Monitoring service quality through audits, reviews and spot checks
  • Investigating complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns when required
  • Managing branch performance and identifying opportunities for growth and development
  • Ensuring policies, procedures and health & safety requirements are implemented effectively
  • Participating in the on-call rota and providing operational support when needed
  • Delivering emergency hands-on care in exceptional circumstances

Most importantly, you'll help ensure the people we support receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care while empowering your team to deliver their very best.

  • Previous management experience within domiciliary care
