We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our Extra Care team in Lytham St Anne's. As a Duty Manager - Extra Care, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our care services. You will lead and support your team to deliver high-quality care that meets regulatory standards and promotes the well-being and independence of our residents. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Extra Care service, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and supervise care staff, providing guidance, coaching, and encouragement to maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all residents and staff by maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Coordinate care plans and liaise with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to ensure personalised and effective care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within Health, Nursing or Social Care, ideally in an Extra Care or similar setting.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, safeguarding procedures, and care quality standards (CQC).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
