Role Overview

The Treasury Technology Lead will be the Group Treasury’s senior technology subject matter expert, responsible for the hands‑on delivery, configuration, optimisation and long‑term ownership of TP ICAP’s Treasury technology landscape, with an immediate focus on the global Kyriba transformation programme.

The role is expected to provide deep functional and technical expertise across Kyriba and associated treasury technology platforms, reducing reliance on external consultants and ensuring critical knowledge is retained within the organisation.

Acting as both a strategic lead and hands‑on practitioner, the successful candidate will lead the implementation and enhancement of Kyriba modules across cash management, payments, bank connectivity, forecasting, liquidity planning, deal capture, treasury accounting, netting and reporting.

The role will work closely with Treasury, Finance, IT, banking partners and third‑party vendors to deliver a standardised, scalable and highly automated treasury operating model while developing the internal Treasury Technology capability.

This is a hands‑on delivery role.

Candidates must be able to personally configure, test and deploy Kyriba functionality rather than solely managing third‑party implementation partners.

  • Role Responsibilities
  • Serve as the internal Kyriba product owner and technical lead, providing hands‑on system configuration, testing, deployment and support across the full Kyriba platform.
  • Lead delivery of the Treasury Technology roadmap, including Core Data, User Access, Bank Connectivity, Cash Positioning, Payments, Deal Capture, Treasury Accounting, Forecasting & Liquidity Planning, Netting and Reporting modules.
  • Take ownership of the transition from external consultancy support to an internally managed capability, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, documentation and support processes.
  • Configure, optimise and maintain Kyriba using standard “out‑of‑the‑box” functionality wherever possible to minimise long‑term support costs and complexity.
  • Lead the design, build and testing of integrations between Kyriba and key enterprise platforms including Oracle, Workday, One Stream, ICD, SWIFT, Bottomline and banking partners.
  • Drive automation of treasury processes including cash positioning, cash forecasting, payments, deal capture, treasury accounting and intercompany netting.
  • Establish governance, controls, documentation standards, testing frameworks and change management procedures for Treasury technology solutions.
  • Partner with Treasury, Finance and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technology solutions.
  • Support future regional rollouts across EMEA, North America and APAC and evaluate emerging treasury technologies and AI‑enabled functionality.
  • Develop and mentor Treasury team members, creating a sustainable internal Treasury Technology capability and centre of excellence.
