Role Overview: We are recruiting for an Electronic Trading Execution Analyst initially on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. You will play an important role in supporting a leading agency equity single-stock and portfolio Trading desks in the EMEA region and globally.
Role Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Writing queries and processes to collate data across various different sources; Automating client report production and working with analytics development team on future analytic platform developments; Working on designing and prototyping analytics solutions for delivering analysis to clients.
- Transaction Cost Analysis: Assist the Trading Desk by running Global TCA reports for European clients across all Liquidnet’s products; Responding to inbound member inquiries regarding execution performance; Constructing aggregate statistics on Liquidnet algos to market execution performance to clients.
- Algo Sales & Development: Generating and analyzing Key Performance Indicator data; Working with Business Development to provide support for upcoming sales meetings; Working with Marketing to help design and develop marketing materials; Providing relevant data and support materials to keep marketing materials up to date; Assisting quants in analyzing algo performance.
Experience / Competences:
- Essential: Degree-level qualification, ideally in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or Statistics; Practical programming experience highly desirable: Python, SQL, Pandas; Ability and ease of working with large datasets; Team-player who enjoys interacting with teams across a number of departments; Excellent communication and presentation skills; Strong numerical, analytical skills and strong knowledge of statistics; Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
- Desired: Keen interest in financial markets and in working with trading and market data; Experience developing and maintaining dashboards using Dash and Power BI.
