Role Overview

This role will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of both Business As Usual (BAU) activities and project-related work. In particular, this role requires the successful candidate to assist with the execution of client and operational data stewardship responsibilities on a daily basis.

Role Responsibilities

  • Execution of Client and Operational Data set-up responsibilities, including but not limited to: customers, traders, brokers, confirmation data, FX, instruments, invoicing and settlement data.
  • Ensure Business As Usual (BAU) activities are completed by EOD of Day, where required.
  • Assist with daily trade breaks, resolving any data set-up challenges to ensure efficiency across the post-trade lifecycle.
  • Assist with Data integration tasks and project work related to key firm-wide initiatives.
  • Support the Team Manager and wider team colleagues with various change initiatives and process enhancements.

Experience / Competences

Essential

  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills & a proactive approach.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment.
  • Highly effective written & oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audience.
  • Shows evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environments.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desired

  • Knowledge of financial markets.
  • Previous experience in a similar organisation.
