We are seeking a highly skilled Contract CRM Business Analyst to join our Asset Management client in London, to work on large-scale CRM Transformation & Client Data Strategy programme within a global asset management environment. The role will focus on the implementation of an external reference data provider to enhance and standardise organisation data across multiple Salesforce instances, including supporting data matching, enrichment, and hierarchy construction.

The successful candidate will work closely with business, data, and technology stakeholders to define requirements for mastering organisation data, establish scalable operating model processes (including governance and stewardship), and ensure alignment to the enterprise data model. In addition, the role will evolve into designing and delivering sales insight views and dashboards, leveraging complex client hierarchies and integrating key contextual data (e.g. AUM, flows, and relationship data) to enable improved client coverage, reporting, and decision-making across distribution teams.

Required experience & skills

  • Strong understanding of Asset Management operating models, including institutional and wholesale distribution, client servicing, and fund structures.
  • Experience working in B2B business contexts, with complex client organisations, multi-entity relationships and long-cycle sales and servicing models.
  • Understanding of how clients, consultants, intermediaries, mandates and legal entities are represented and related within Asset Management firms.
  • Produce high-quality analysis artefacts including:
    • Data definitions and logical data models
    • Hierarchy and relationship rules
    • Business rules and acceptance criteria
    • JIRA Features, Stories and Acceptance Criteria (Feature ? Story ? AC)
  • Support testing and validation of mastered client data within Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud 360 and downstream analytics (e.g. Tableau).

Desirable experience

  • Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, MDM platforms, or client/entity mastering solutions.
  • Experience working with external data providers (e.g. Dun & Bradstreet, LEI, reference data).
  • Financial Services or Asset Management experience (beneficial but not essential).
  • Familiarity with data governance, stewardship models and regulatory considerations.

In summary, BA with experience in Client Data Modelling / MDM / Data Governance will be essential, as is prior experience of working with an Asset/Investment Management company.

6 Month contract

Hybrid work pattern: 2 days in the office / 3 remote
