As a UCCH Manager – Unscheduled Care Co-ordination Hub, you will lead the real-time delivery of UCCH services across Mid and South Essex, ensuring safe, effective and high-performing services across multiple contracts. This is a pivotal operational leadership role where you will take responsibility for on-shift service delivery, performance management and escalation. Acting as the first point of contact for operational issues, you will lead decision-making in real time, responding to fluctuating demand and escalating through on-call structures where required.
You will work closely with UCCH Care Coordinators, Team Managers and system partners, using performance data to proactively manage pressures, maintain service stability and ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards. You will also support the development of your team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, learning and service excellence. This is a highly operational, hands-on role suited to someone confident in managing live services, leading teams through complexity and making decisions under pressure.
