As a Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, working in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct. You will provide assessment, treatment, screening, and health education to our patients, working independently and alongside our team of nurses and GPs. This role is ideal for someone with experience in:

  • Smear testing
  • Chronic disease management
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Wound care
  • Health screening
  • Risk assessment

If you have a prescribing qualification, you will have the opportunity to use your skills appropriately within the role. As a clinical member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery and future development of the overall service, working towards the achievement of the Practice aims and objectives and supporting the delivery of the Practice business plan.

IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care and secondary care support services.

Location: Allied Medical Practice - across both sites

Hours Available: 15 hours per week
