- This role is an exciting blend of responsibilities:
- Receptionist duties: Welcoming patients with compassion and ensuring confidentiality. Handling a variety of patient needs, including appointment booking, comfort calls, and dealing with sensitive situations. Excellent empathy and strong IT skills are required to navigate systems while offering support, especially in moments of distress. Ensuring two‑way communication with call centres to ensure efficient operations and accurate record keeping.
- Driver duties: Conduct vehicle and equipment checks and safely transport clinicians to home visits where they’ll provide essential care. May also accompany clinicians into patient homes. Ensuring correct use of equipment and vehicles at all times. Each shift offers variety, making it engaging while providing opportunity to make a real difference in the community.

We provide services to over 6 million patients, including GP‑led out‑of‑hours services, NHS 111, primary care, and secondary care support services.
Location: Broomfield Chelmsford. Flexibility to cover other bases in Southend, Thurrock and Basildon when required.
Hours available: Weekends and night shifts.
Requirements:
- Full, clean, manual UK driving licence; must be able to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- Standard DBS disclosure.
- Two references.
