We are seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Customer Relations Representative to manage and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities. This role involves going into existing and potential new clients, ensuring strong ongoing relationships, and actively supporting business growth through tender and quotation follow-ups.
Leads will be provided, with additional earning potential (commission) for self-generated leads that result in successful wins.
Key Responsibilities- Visit and engage with existing clients to:
- Ask how we are currently performing
- Gather feedback on service quality and client satisfaction
- Review the status of existing quotes
- Identify any concerns or opportunities for improvement
- Introduce the company and our services
- Build relationships and understand client needs
- Identify upcoming or current tender opportunities
- Actively ask clients:
- Are there any additional projects or tenders available?
- Are there future opportunities we should be aware of?
- The company will provide leads for you to work on
- If you generate your own leads and they result in a successful job win, a percentage commission will be paid
- If a job is won directly from your own chasing or follow-up efforts, a success percentage will apply (Exact commission percentages to be discussed and agreed upon)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident speaking with clients face-to-face and over the phone
- Experience in customer relations, account management, or business development preferred
- Ability to identify opportunities and ask the right questions
- Organised, self-motivated, and results-driven
