You’ll play a key role in ensuring products are built, configured and tested to a high standard, working across everything from embedded boards through to full rack-level systems. It’s a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, improving processes and staying close to the build environment. As the Head of Production, you’ll act as the technical backbone of the production environment, supporting day-to-day manufacturing activity while driving process improvements and technical consistency across builds.
Responsibilities Include:- Supporting production builds across embedded, networking and rack-scale hardware systems
- Developing and refining build procedures, work instructions and production documentation
- Diagnosing and resolving production-line technical issues across hardware, software and firmware
- Supporting first-article and prototype builds, ensuring lessons learned feed into future production
- Working closely with engineering, configuration and quality teams to improve processes and delivery performance
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency and repeatability
- Experience in production engineering, systems integration or technical manufacturing environments
- Strong hands-on hardware knowledge across electronic or computing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues methodically and practically
- Experience working with technical documentation, build instructions and engineering change processes
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple engineering functions
