IC Resources is looking for an experienced Technical Author to assist one of our clients in modernising their documentation infrastructure. This is a 3-month, remote contract with a potential extension.
Responsibilities
- Migrate existing technical documents into DITA XML.
- Support the development/organisation of a documentation portal with version control.
- Review and edit technical documentation.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Technical Author or Information Developer in a software or hardware environment.
- Strong expertise with DITA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
- Excellent attention to detail, writing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong technical understanding and ability to grasp complex concepts.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab or other source control tools.
