IC Resources is looking for an experienced Technical Author to assist one of our clients in modernising their documentation infrastructure. This is a 3-month, remote contract with a potential extension.

Responsibilities

  • Migrate existing technical documents into DITA XML.
  • Support the development/organisation of a documentation portal with version control.
  • Review and edit technical documentation.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Technical Author or Information Developer in a software or hardware environment.
  • Strong expertise with DITA.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
  • Excellent attention to detail, writing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to grasp complex concepts.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitLab or other source control tools.
