Established Bristol-based tech company is looking to hire a System Administrator to join their expanding team providing infrastructure support and devops. The role involves supporting their server and network infrastructure, whilst continuing to build and grow their devops platforms and tools. They are looking for someone who is a self-starter, versatile, a quick & proactive learner, who is keen to get involved in all areas of devops and infrastructure support.
Working as part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to own projects as they expand their devops functions.
Technical environment:
- Devops - CI/CD, Jenkins, Github, Ansible, Python (+ Bash, Powershell), Groovy
- Infrastructure - Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS/RHEL), Windows, Active Directory, Hyper-V, MacOS, Network support (DNS, DHCP, etc)
As this is a full rounded role, you will also be required to assist with day-to-day desktop support. There is excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled engineering team, with extensive scope to learn and grow. This is a hybrid role, working from their offices in central Bristol (2 days per week). Salary is up to £50k + benefits.
