Senior Validation Engineer in Surrey

We’re working with an exciting client operating across the telecommunications and satellite sector, who are looking to add an experienced Senior Validation Engineer to their growing engineering team. This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on validation engineer to work across chip and system‑level testing, with exposure to RF, analogue and high‑speed communication technologies. The role will involve: Planning, estimating and developing system validation and test strategies Validation of complex telecommunications and satellite systems Testing analogue, RF and high‑speed communication blocks Working with SerDes and high‑speed links Developing automated test environments using C/C++/Python or similar Investigating complex failures and driving issues through to root cause Working closely with hardware, software and systems engineering teams Managing defects and technical knowledge using tools such as JIRA and Confluence Contributing to validation methodologies and continuous improvement We’re looking for experience with: Telecommunications or satellite systems Chip and system‑level validation Analogue, RF and high‑speed communication blocks SerDes, BERTs, DCAs and high‑speed sampling scopes RF test equipment including spectrum analysers, VNAs/PNAs, signal generators and power meters Automated testing and programming in C, C++ or Python Strong debugging and root‑cause analysis skills System test planning and development This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Validation Engineer who enjoys getting hands‑on with complex technology, solving challenging technical problems and working across multidisciplinary engineering teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
