An exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer has arisen with a leading defence company, based in Stevenage. This role is focused on strengthening the performance, resilience, and long-term sustainability of a complex software platform through troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement. You’ll build strong familiarity with the underlying systems and help create a more dependable foundation that improves product quality, team productivity, and overall user experience. You will commit to an onsite working model, required onsite 5 days a week.
Experience Of The Software Engineer Will Include
- Object oriented programming experience, e.g. C, C++, Java
- Working with CI/CD pipelines
- Big fixing, testing and maintaining software
- Desired: programming with ADA
Security clearance requirements
This role requires security clearance, and you will therefore require British citizenship or Dual UK nationality with British citizenship.
