We are supporting a deep-tech networking company developing next-generation interconnect technology for AI and high-performance computing systems. They are looking to add an FPGA Engineer to their growing hardware team, helping to build ultra-high-speed networking solutions designed for future data centre infrastructure.

This role focuses on developing FPGA-based interfaces between accelerators, processors, and high-bandwidth network architectures. You’ll work across architecture definition, RTL implementation, verification, and lab-based validation, contributing to systems designed to operate at extreme throughput while maintaining efficiency and scalability.

The position will involve building and optimising high-speed FPGA designs, supporting customer evaluation platforms, and collaborating closely with software and systems teams to deliver production-ready networking solutions.

They are looking for an FPGA Engineer with the following background:

  • Strong FPGA development experience using SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL
  • Experience with high-speed networking or accelerator interconnects
  • Understanding of protocols such as PCIe, RDMA, CXL, NVLink, or similar
  • Experience with FPGA tool flows including synthesis, timing closure, and verification
  • Familiarity with Vivado, Quartus, Questa, or VCS
  • Scripting experience with Python or TCL

Experience with Versal, Agilex, embedded processors, or device-driver level software would be advantageous.
