Our international client is currently searching for a Principal Product Engineer to be based in the Scotland office, and to be responsible for all product engineering activities within the department. The role will involve statistical analysis to support NPI, production and customer returns, as well as ownership of product yield activities. Driving yield improvement activities will be an important part of the role and working with various in-house departments including test, reliability and operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform statistical analysis to support new product introduction (NPI), production, and customer returns.
- Own product yield activities and drive yield improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with test, reliability, and operations teams to improve product performance and manufacturability.
- Oversee all product engineering activities within the department.

- Strong semiconductor product engineering knowledge
- Manufacturing process experience including test, FA and yield analysis skills
