Job Description
Senior Validation Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Validation Engineer to join our growing team and play a critical role in validating complex systems within the telecommunications and satellite domains. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities;
- Validate and test complex telecommunication and satellite systems, spanning chip-level and system-level designs
- Develop and execute validation for analog, RF, and high-speed communication blocks, including SERDES links
- Operate, configure, and maintain advanced test and measurement equipment
- Design and implement automated validation and test solutions
- Perform deep debugging and root-cause analysis of issues identified during validation
- Define, plan, estimate, and deliver system-level test strategies and validation roadmaps
- Document, track, and manage defects, contributing to shared knowledge using JIRA and Confluence
- Apply industry best-practice test methodologies to ensure robust validation coverage
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, providing technical insight and driving continuous improvement
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience testing telecommunication or satellite systems
- Proven background in chip and system validation, particularly involving analog, RF, and high-speed designs
- Deep expertise in high-speed serial links (SERDES) and associated time-domain test techniques
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (C, C++, Python, or similar)
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and communications theory
- Familiarity with structured test methodologies and validation best practices
