Overview
Based in Edinburgh, this is a superb opportunity for a Senior MEMS Design Engineer to join an revolutionary wireless technology company.
In today’s fast-changing communications market, efficient high frequency wireless communication systems are becoming increasingly critical. Our client has developed a revolutionary platform that will help to reduce power consumption by more than 70%, and hence have the leading-edge over competitors. They are expanding, and seek a Senior MEMS Design Engineer to drive the design, simulation and characterisation of leading-edge RF MEMS devices.
In this rapidly growing team, the Senior MEMS Design Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the MEMS life-cycle, from initial concept development to final design review, device characterisation, model validation and failure analysis. There will be the chance to lead sub-projects, with the space and freedom to model and patent ideas.
The successful candidate will have:
- A good University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field
- Demonstrated experience within the design and layout of MEMS devices
- COMSOL experience
- Knowledge of wafer-level MEMS fabrication and process development
- Excellent team working skills, and plenty of enthusiasm to learn and develop
The successful MEMS Design Engineer will join a highly experienced team of industry veterans, working directly with R&D, Engineers and decision makers.
