Senior Electronics EngineerLocation: Edinburgh area
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing technology company in Scotland. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will design and develop advanced digital and mixedâsignal electronics for highâperformance communication applications. The role will involve schematic capture, PCB design, FPGA integration, and system validation, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of digital and mixedâsignal systems integrating FPGAs.
Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection.
Develop high speed digital electronics.
Support prototyping, bringâup, debugging, and validation in the lab.
Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities.
Requirements
Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong background in digital circuit design and PCB development.
Experience with simulation and lab testing tools.
FPGA design experience is ideal, but learning opportunities are available.
Excellent problemâsolving skills and the ability to lead technical projects.
