A Senior DSP Engineer is urgently sought by this leading high speed wireless communications developer based in Aberdeen. The Senior DSP Engineer will be responsible for developing DSP algorithms and software used in a variety of industries, including the oil and gas, for baseband processing, multi-carrier modulation, acoustic channel modelling and W-CDMA applications. Working closely with the Hardware and Software teams, the Senior DSP Engineer will be supporting the complete product development lifecycle.
After completing your technical education, you will have gained several years of experience developing DSP algorithms and software. You will have strong embedded software development skills coupled with excellent C and C++ knowledge. You should be comfortable developing DSP algorithms and software for some of the following: baseband processing, digital modulation, multi-carrier modulation, W-CDMA, digital down conversion and acoustic channel modelling. Any exposure to Matlab, Python or lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers) would be a bonus.
This position is based in Aberdeen, Scotland, and the successful candidate needs to be fully authorized to work in Scotland and happy to relocate to the Aberdeen area.
