This is a new opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer with one of the world’s top-tier Semiconductor companies, based in Edinburgh.

Reporting to the Senior Analog Design Manager, the Analog IC Design Engineer will:

  • Work on analog front-end design for power line communications including the design of amplifier design, line drivers, Audio, and power management.
  • Take responsibility for the specification, design, verification, and validation of complex Analog and Mixed/Signal blocks and systems in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies for a wide variety of application areas.
  • Technical lead designs, and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Generate intellectual property as well as contribute to architectural and circuit improvements in a wide range of areas.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Analog IC Design role will have:

  • A BSc / MSc / PhD within Electronics or related field.
  • Seasoned experience within analog and mixed-signal IC design, ideally in advanced CMOS technologies.
  • Experience within any of the following: Data converters, Amplifier (LNAs, OTAs, and PGAs), Embedded power management.
